Extract the patcher, put the patch in said folder, run the patcher and select touched/fixed iso, select both iso and patch and aplly the patch. Also the game save folder is named as the psp counterpart ULJM05800. |

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER This game runs like an absolute dream (After spending hours fiddling to get it to work (This thread helped loads)) I got off about 6 hours of solid, non-interrupted gameplay and i couldn't find 1 flaw. I am running PPSSPP git v0.8.1-481-gf2e7388 and i've wazzed my specs into my sig. I have the game running on max settings with Texture Scaling on 2x Hybrid (For some reason any higher causes a slight second-or-so lag spike everytime a new window is opened, (For example, a store/farm collections/player box/quest list etc.) but at a lower scaling this is now non-existent. I am also running the game in fullscreen mode at 1920x1080 resolution and have enclosed a few screenshots.. MHP3rd HD also seems to be more translated than that of my psp version, but i could simply be using an old patch on my psp. it was some time ago that i got the psp patch, and very recently when i got the ps3 one. Awesome job with the emulator, i love it, it's making me start to play all of my old dusty psp games . now that i can play the majority of 'em on my pc it's pretty damn sweet ! (And considering that, as of yesterday, my ps3 fucked up and is no longer reading discs this is a damn fine alternative!) On a side note, in my PPSSPP folder, under User/Logs/ i have a file called 'PPSSPP.log' and it's just over 3GB. which is rather space consuming, i'm thinking I accidently done something in the setup somewhere. or not? is it ok to delete the file or will it mess things up? i'm assuming not as it's just a log file, but, you know, ghost in the machine and all. RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD VER Yes its Okay to delete that folder Logs & you will not get any more logs being produced. Unless you wish to do debugging, then run Log.bat found in same folder as PPSSPPWindows.exe, that will create that Logs folder again, & start up PPSSPP as normal. |

I have a problem After character's creation the emulator make this: Are you trying to run monster hunter portable 3rd or 3rdHD (PS3 remaster)? As for now PPSSPP can run only the latter due to a function not implemented yet. That black screen could be caused by the intro/ending movies, you can skip that by pressing select. If you are experiencing the issue ingame then it would be wise to tell us the specs of your pc. |
