The series was premiered on October 3, 2011 to September 13, 2013 from the Cinevistaas Limited. It was dubbed in Tamil and Telugu languages. The story is about the two sisters, Jeevika (Krystle D’Souza) and Manvi (Nia Sharma).

They are both affectionate with each other. Jeevika is older and very mature, well-behaved and careful while Manvi is very down-to-earth, bold and talkative. When their parents died, they moved to Rishikesh from Delhi. Viren (Karan Tacker) and Virat (Kushal Tandon) Vadhera are the two handsome brothers who came from a well-off clan in Chandigarh. Viren is a good lawyer while Virat is fond of music. Jeevika and Viren are engaged but something came up between Dr. Manan (Abhinav Shukla), Jeevika’s previous suitor, and circumstances brought by Manvi when she tries to meddle their relationship because she doesn’t want to lose her sister. But later on, they still end up on getting married and they both moved to Chandigarh. Manvi became close to Virat after discovering that she has blood cancer.

They went through a lot of odds and make ups when they finally realize that they are both in love with each other. During her chemo, they discovered that she only needs a bone marrow transplant. While Jeevika and Viren are both expecting for a baby, they found out that Jeevika is the only one who matches the bone marrow of Manvi and since they are sisters, their blood type is compatible. The two decided to abort their baby to save her sister.

Later, Manvi and Virat get married. Problems arise again when Jaiswal, the one who tries to murder Viren on his wedding day, sends the impostor, Karan (Sehban Azim) to pretend as Virat and Viren’s aunt. When Jeevika and Manvi founds out, as Karan tries to attack them, Jeevika killed him by self defense. Viren believes that there is a foul play but later, Jeevika was proven innocent and Jaiswal is the real killer. Viren just saves Riya (Kajal Pisal), wife of Sambhav, who was about to commit suicide.

They became close to each other because Viren is kind to her. This leads Manvi and Virat to assume that Viren is having an affair. One night, Riya was killed and Viren gets arrested for it. Jeevika tries to do everything to save Viren. It was later uncovered that the woman that Viren knew is not Riya but Sambhav’s lover, Sheetal. More twist happens and at the end, Vidi and Manvi gave birth to a baby. Viren and Jeevika also had their first daughter, Virat and Mandi named their child as Jhanvi Vadhera while Jeevika and Viren name their daughters as Maansi. The serial ends with Manvi giving the good news that Jeevika is pregnant again. The strong bond of the two sisters and the romance grips the characters to the audience.
